LA city attorney says judge can't usurp elected officials' role
LA City Attorney Mike Feuer told U.S. District Judge David O. Carter, "You've asked, 'Is it really appropriate for a court to substitute its judgment for elected officials when it comes to public policy in this city?' My own view is that public officials should own that responsibility," Feuer said.
