Suit against Beats ends with $4M in fees for Munger Tolles
Audio cable company Monster Inc. and its chief executive officer Noel Lee, who owned part of the Beats by Dre headphones empire, sued its principals and electronics company HTC America Holding Inc. in 2015. He said they engaged in a fraudulent scheme to deprive him of his revenue in Beats shortly after the empire was acquired by Apple.




A years-long fraud dispute stemming from Apple's acquisition of a popular headphones company run by Andre "Dr. Dre" Young came to a close, with Munger Tolles & Olson LLP receiving more than $4 million in attorney fees.
