Judge halts 57K resident Tejon Ranch project

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff cited environmental concerns such as wildfire risk and additional greenhouse gases generated by vehicles in his 61-page decision.

Tejon Ranch Co.'s plans to build a 57,000 resident development 65 miles north of Los Angeles were stymied when a judge rejected the county's approval of the developer's environmental impact report, potentially halting construction entirely.
