Appeal panel will hear San Luis Obispo DA disqualification case

Former California Attorney General Xavier Becerra in January appealed Judge Matthew G. Guerrero’s December ruling that District Attorney Dan Dow had a conflict of interest in the cases due to his public opposition to Black Lives Matter. The attorney general’s office would be responsible for the prosecution if Guerrero’s decision is affirmed.
