Constitutional concerns raised about new bills to regulate gig work

Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez testified at the Committee on Privacy and Consumer Protection hearing that AB 286 would provide transparency into the fees customers pay to food delivery companies and bar the businesses from keeping any payment designated as a “tip.”
