Firms file to force state to address inequity in schools reopening

New funds don’t help students from closed schools, a motion from Public Counsel and Morrison & Foerster LLP argued.

Attorneys with Public Counsel and Morrison & Foerster LLP have filed for an injunction to force the state to address racial equity in remote learning, learning loss and students' mental health as the state supports schools that are reopening.
