Theranos chief’s emails with David Boies admitted for fraud trial
U.S. Magistrate Judge Nathanael M. Cousins of the Northern District of California granted the U.S. attorney’s motion to present to the jury 13 of the now-defunct blood testing company’s documents, including Holmes’ emails, finding there was no attorney-client privilege between defendant Elizabeth Holmes and David Boies.




Email exchanges between Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and attorney David Boies -- some of which concerned potential legal actions against the Wall Street Journal over reporting that led to the downfall of the company -- will be admitted in her fraud trial, a court ordered Thursday.
