Citing a backlog of cases, a federal judge in San Francisco on Thursday pushed into next year a trial and arguments on class certification in a case alleging Facebook overstated the number of people advertisers could reach with its ads.

U.S. District Judge James Donato moved the trial, which was supposed to start in December, to September 2022 at the earliest.
