Gov. Gavin Newsom sued his appointed Secretary of State Shirley Weber, seeking to correct a paperwork error that could cause his Democratic Party identification to be left off the recall ballot.
A spokesman for the recall campaign said Tuesday it has no plans to intervene in the case.
