Landmark legal malpractice trial to start amid COVID fears

On Friday they agreed that neither side would challenge dismissal of a prospective juror based on vaccination status.

A landmark legal malpractice trial opens in Orange County on Aug. 11, involving payday lending company CashCall, which seeks $950 million in damages from Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP for alleged breach of contract and fiduciary duty.
