Anonymous deposit box owners are not a class, judge rules

The proposed class action complaint sought to represent all safety deposit box owners who sought the return of their property anonymously after an FBI raid on U.S. Private Vaults in Beverly Hills.

A federal judge has denied anonymous plaintiffs' motion for class certification and preliminary injunction in a lawsuit against the government alleging unlawful seizure of their belongings during an FBI raid on a safe-deposit box company in Beverly Hills.

Filed in April, the proposed class action sought to represent all safety deposit box owners who sought the return of their property anonymously after the raid on U.S. Private Vaults.
