Governor signs bill to further eliminate arbitration delays

SB 762 requires arbitration providers to produce invoices that clearly lay out cost, fees and due dates.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill Wednesday to regulate arbitration by further eliminating delays.

SB 762 requires arbitration providers to produce invoices that clearly lay out cost, fees and due dates. The law's author, Sen. Bob Wieckowski, D-Fremont, said SB 762 will prevent employers and vendors from engaging in stalling tactics.
