Virus exclusion or not, insurers win

More than 64% of lawsuits against insurers over the denial of business interruption coverage in state courts across the nation have been denied with prejudice, according to the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.

Insurance companies that denied business interruption coverage to policyholders last year following the COVID-19 virus are scoring a series of victories in state and federal courts.
