Cher says Sonny’s widow is withholding royalties from ’60s hits

Singer and actress Cher filed a suit in federal court accusing Mary Bono of withholding royalties from the hits written and performed by the iconic duo Sonny and Cher in the 1960s.

Cher has accused Sonny Bono’s widow, the former Congresswoman Mary Bono, of withholding royalties from hits owned and performed by the musical team Sonny and Cher.
