Asian American bar seeks more transparency from San Francisco DA

The California Asian Pacific American Bar Association sent a letter asking DA Chesa Boudin to commit to explaining what the office is doing to protect members of the community and how it is investigating hate crimes and making charging decisions.

The California Asian Pacific American Bar Association has asked the San Francisco district attorney to communicate better with the minority community, especially victims’ families, and to explain their reasoning when hate crimes are not charged.
