Retired judges amend age bias complaint against Judicial Council

The amended complaint contains a new analysis of how the policy affects retired judges of different ages, using the Judicial Council’s own data.

Seven retired judges have filed an amended age discrimination complaint against the Judicial Council of California, nearly three months after an appellate court revived their case. Meanwhile, 93-year-old plaintiffs' attorney Quentin L. Kopp said the Judicial Council has been unwilling to take part in proposed settlement talks.
