Bannon can’t hide behind executive privilege

Stephen K. Bannon, who was pardoned by President Donald Trump for defrauding investors in a border wall fundraising scheme, is in legal hot water again. This time it’s for his refusal to appear before the House Select Committee for a deposition and to produce documents. The committee is investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
