LA firefighters denied injunction on vaccine mandate
According to the ruling, the plaintiffs pushed for an opt-out provision where firefighters could decline to receive vaccinations, submitting instead to weekly COVID-19 testing. However, the city contended that the ordinance did not facially allow for an opt-out.




In the latest legal blow against Los Angeles firefighters battling COVID-19 vaccine mandates, a county Superior Court judge denied a motion for preliminary injunction against an ordinance requiring city employees to report their vaccination status.
