Nearly 45 counties have started their own versions, according to Los Angeles County Judge Paul A. Bacigalupo.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Paul A. Bacigalupo is an architect of the judicial mentorship program.

Just over a year after it was announced, the Los Angeles County Superior Court's Judicial Mentorship program has seen hundreds of participants and scores of judge-attorney pairings, with courts across the state and country using it as a model for their own mentorship initiatives.
