OpenX Technologies fined $2 million fine for mining children’s data
“Protecting the online safety and privacy of children is a mission that is not only mandated by law, but also one of our agency’s most laudable priorities,” FTC Commissioner Noah J. Phillips said in a prepared statement.




Pasadena-based online advertising company OpenX Technologies agreed to pay $2 million to resolve accusations by the Federal Trade Commission that it unlawfully mined data from children without parental consent.
