Covid longhauler sues over denial of disability benefits

Of the 40 million Americans who have been diagnosed with Covid, one in four have developed long term ailments, according to a study by UC Davis Health.

In one of the first federal lawsuits of its kind, a software sales executive says she is entitled to disability benefits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, based entirely on post-Covid neurological ailments like "brain fog," which prevent her from doing her work.
