Comedians sue Pandora over rights to their jokes
Although Pandora has licensed the comedians’ recordings, “this does not include the literary jokes themselves. You can’t have one without the other,” said Richard S. Busch from King & Ballow, who filed lawsuits for Bill Engvall, Ron White and Andrew Dice Clay.




The estates of Robin Williams and George Carlin along with three living comedians sued Pandora Monday, claiming the streaming service bought the rights to their recordings but not the rights to their jokes.
