Annoyance of the IRS is natural, but is it worth the fight?
When you are dealing with the IRS — and this is true when you are dealing with the California Franchise Tax Board — timelines and procedures are critical. Make sure you pay attention to what the letter or notice says about responding, including what it says about the time to respond. If you are not timely in your response and don’t observe procedural rules, you may not stand much of a chance.
