The former executive of a microchip startup that was sold to Qualcomm Technologies Inc. for more than $150 million pleaded guilty to money laundering charges.
Sanjiv Taneja admitted that he and co-defendants Karim Arabi and Ali Akbar Shokouhi schemed to hide that Arabi was involved in Abreezio, the startup. Arabi was the vice president of research and development at Qualcomm in San Diego.
