30 vape manufacturers hit with unfair competition claims

None of the defendants’ vaping devices have received premarket authorization from the FDA. In many instances, they have not even filed the applications, said attorneys for e-cigarette company NJOY LLC.

NJOY LLC, a subsidiary of tobacco company Altria Group Inc., went after more than 30 allegedly illicit vape manufacturers based in the U.S. and China, claiming false advertising and unfair competition.
