Wells Fargo accused of covertly enrolling customers in products

A complaint says the financial institution sent letters to many fraudulently enrolled customers and unlawfully shifted the burden to dispute the enrollment.

Wells Fargo & Co. was accused in a putative class action filed in San Francisco of covertly enrolling customers in financial products and services and trying to pay its liabilities at bargain rates.
