Real estate settlement may create opportunities for lawyers
Attorneys could fill the void created by the real estate community’s failure to adjust, negotiating contracts and writing documents, with realtors, inspectors, and other professionals brought in on an ad hoc basis, some believe.
The landmark settlement the National Association of Realtors signed this month could have ripple effects across many other professions--including, and perhaps especially, for attorneys.
