Judge Timothy S. Healy admonished over disparaging remarks, bias
In one instance, Healy told people in court that one of them "reeks" of marijuana and needed a shower; court staff "later determined that the source of the odor was a skunk in the court parking lot."
The Commission on Judicial Performance has publicly admonished Calaveras County Superior Court Judge Timothy S. Healy for conduct including disparaging remarks and bias. Tuesday's announcement continues an active summer for the agency, which has disciplined six judges since the beginning of May.
