SF judge's Google monopoly ruling slightly differs from DC judge

Consumers in federal court in San Francisco who accuse Google of illegally brokering an exclusive deal to be the default search engine across all Apple devices. Google's attorneys have argued that no factual allegations indicate a horizontal agreement between the tech giants.

A federal judge in San Francisco axed an antitrust lawsuit accusing Google LLC of cornering the search engine market but allowed the plaintiffs a fourth shot at their claims, saying a recent decision by a federal court in Washington D.C. may breathe new life into their allegations.
