Parris Law Firm backs new law school initiative

The Parris Academy for Excellence in Law and Leadership will teach Southwestern Law School students communication and business skills typically missing from law school curricula.

Southwestern Law School and Parris Law Firm have launched a program to teach law students skills needed to launch and run firms, manage cases and work with lay people.

The Parris Academy for Excellence in Law and Leadership aims to fill gaps in law school curricula, teaching leadership and interpersonal skills such as networking, business skills and communicating effectively with people without a legal background, whether they are jurors or clients.
