Proposition 34 will be on California's November 2024 ballot. On its face, it amends the state Welfare & Institutions Code to require certain healthcare providers to spend 98% of revenues from federal drug programs on direct patient care. In practice, it would bar AIDS Healthcare Foundation--which is a provider and Proposition 34's target--from continuing to bankroll rent control initiatives.
