Epic Games fights 3 tech companies at once over app store practices

Attorneys with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP argued in the complaint filed Monday that Google and Samsung were trying to get around any judicial remedies in Epic Games' jury verdict against Apple last December. Meanwhile a U.S. magistrate judge rejected Apple's request for more time to supply 1.3 million discovery documents.

Video game maker Epic Games' legal battles against the world's technology giants continued Monday on multiple fronts, with the company suing Alphabet Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. while Apple Inc. worked to comply with a judge's order in a separate case filed by Epic.

All the Northern District of California litigation all revolves around Epic Games' complaints about the tech companies' app store practices.
