Judge still weighing future of the LA school district site formerly occupied by a charter school

The state government has accused the district of failing to discharge its obligation to find another charter school to occupy the site after the previous tenant left in 2021.

A Los Angeles County judge elected not to adopt a tentative ruling against the Los Angeles Unified School District on Wednesday stemming from claims that it didn't fulfill its legal obligation to find a charter school tenant to occupy a facility near downtown.
