Judge rejects 'frivolous' arbitration opposition in legal malpractice case

Judge Christopher K. Lui disagreed with the plaintiff that the arbitration agreement was an adhesion contract and thus "procedurally unconscionable."

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge granted Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger LLP's motion for arbitration in a legal malpractice case, finding that the scope of the arbitration agreement in a case they were accused of botching was broad enough to include all the claims asserted by the plaintiff.
