Bar Court recommends 9 more months suspension of Girardi Keese attorney

In January, a State Bar Court judge recommended a six-month suspension of Keith Griffin's license on allegations he helped convicted felon Thomas V. Girardi misappropriate more than $700,000 in settlement funds meant for the families of victims of a 2018 Indonesian air crash.

The State Bar Court Review Department on Friday recommended former Girardi Keese attorney Keith D. Griffin be suspended an additional nine months after finding he was culpable to a previously dismissed disciplinary count of lying under oath.
