ACLU sues ICE to obtain deportation flight information

The ACLU pointed to statements made by Trump adviser Stephen Miller as evidence that ICE is likely to ramp up its air operations during the next administration.

The ACLU of Southern California sued U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in federal court in Los Angeles, seeking the release of records related to ICE Air Operations, a program that uses private flights to deport people who entered the U.S. illegally and is likely to be integral to President-elect Donald Trump's plan to enact mass deportations.
