Judge to sanction Quinn Emanuel partner for witness questions

U.S. District Judge Edward Chen said he intended to sanction Valerie Lozano, a Los Angeles partner at Quinn Emanuel, for violating an evidentiary ruling pertaining to the scope of direct examination of her damages expert.

A federal judge in San Francisco said he intends to impose sanctions on a partner at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP for violating a court order during her direct examination of a damages expert in a false advertising trial involving two oncology testing companies.
