Jelly Belly seeks to expand lawsuit against CBD candy maker

The maker of Jelly Belly jelly beans wants to amend its federal complaint against David Klein, who sold the company the trademark in 1980 and has now launched a line of CBD-infused candies called "Welly Jelly Beans."

Jelly Belly Candy Company asked a federal court to allow it to file an amended complaint against a man it says has infringed on its trademarks and falsely claimed to be the company's founder.
