Novartis sued in LA over drug's link to autism 

Novartis is sued for promoting terbutaline for preterm labor, despite known brain development risks. Singleton Schreiber filed the lawsuit for Tara Tindle, claiming her child has autism, linked to terbutaline use.

Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp. is accused in a lawsuit of promoting an asthma drug to treat preterm labor in pregnant women despite knowing that it posed significant risks to the development of their babies' brains.
