Attorney-witness chides opposition, judge shouts in malpractice case

Tensions rose as attorney Mark Geragos testified in a malpractice case, clashing with opposing counsel, while Judge Steve Cochran shouted about a video evidence dispute.

Tempers flared as Los Angeles attorney Mark Geragos took the stand Friday in a case accusing him of conspiring to extort Nike, with Geragos pointing the finger at plaintiff Gary Franklin and his counsel, at one point asking for the opposing attorney to be added to the witness list.

When a dispute arose about authenticating video evidence, Judge Steve Cochran was driven to shout at the plaintiff's counsel in discussions after the jury left.
