Johanna Bracy, Esq.

Ms. Bracy is an experienced mediator with expertise in reaching agreement under legally or emotionally challenging circumstances. In her mediation career, she has successfully settled hundreds of disputes and has expertise with employment, real estate and business matters. In addition to private mediations, Ms. Bracy enjoys putting her dispute resolution skills to use by settling cases to free up court dockets and working with nonprofits, schools and parents to resolve conflicts in education, families and the arts.

For more than 18 years before becoming a mediator, Ms. Bracy served as a lawyer, policy advocate and labor-management executive at some of the country’s most respected organizations. She has also worked as a corporate attorney representing regulated industries, a public interest lawyer for the Natural Resources Defense Council, and as a management-side labor relations executive. She serves as a pro bono mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and has been a mediator for the Mediation Center of the Pacific since 2021. Ms. Bracy is also a mediation panelist for the Illinois Courts and the Superior Court of California.

Ms. Bracy is a member of the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section and the California Lawyers Association’s Employment Law Section.
