Former LA County DA sues insurer over defense of gun case

The husband of the now-former Los Angeles County DA was sued after he brandished a gun at Black Lives Matter protesters who showed up on his doorstep.

Former Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey accused State Farm of inadequate defense of her late husband in a high-profile lawsuit filed by Black Lives Matter protesters he greeted at gunpoint on their doorstep, costing her $2.1 million.
