General contractor and project owner held liable after worker attacked on job site
In Degala v. John Stewart Company, a construction worker sued the general contractor and project owner for negligence after being attacked on the job site. The court ruled that the general contractor and owner retained control over site security and their alleged negligence contributed to the worker's injuries.
