9th Circuit weighs whether boutique deserves 'big law' rates in price-fixing case
A four-lawyer firm told the 9th Circuit it deserved rates comparable to large defense firms after a $680,000 jury verdict in an antitrust case, but the trial judge disagreed.




A partner at a San Francisco boutique told a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel Tuesday that his attorney fee award was unfairly reduced because his firm and clients are smaller than those of large firms.
