COMPTON -- A giant, black-and-white poster of heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali standing over a defeated Sonny Liston is displayed in Judge Christine Rodriguez Tyler's chambers.

Rodriguez Tyler found it in a storage room in the Compton Courthouse in 2005, while working as a deputy public defender. "It has that little vintage, tore up look, and it has followed me throughout my career. Now it's come full circle."
