VICTORVILLE -- In her probate assignment, Superior Court Judge Candice Garcia-Rodrigo says she insists on getting a response to legal notices, or finding out what's happened when she doesn't.

"If the person is not answering the phone or isn't opening the door, I am going to insist on trying again, before getting through the paperwork and the substance of the case to make the proper decision," she said.... (continued)
