VAN NUYS - Judge Eric P. Harmon is embracing a new chapter of life.

After 25 years of working in criminal law as a prosecutor and a judge, he requested a civil assignment at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, as he simultaneously raises a toddler with his second wife.
