SANTA ROSA - Court staffers have a nickname for Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Knoel L. Owen: Superman.
Owen undoubtedly earned the sobriquet for his rugged good looks. But attorneys who have argued cases in his court admire his no-nonsense professionalism, which, like the ficitonal Clark Kent, surfaces in understated, yet effective, ways.
