Judge John S. Salazar

Santa Cruz Superior Court

One episode best illustrates Judge John Salazar's approach to his job on the Santa Cruz County juvenile court bench, according to Scott MacDonald, the director of the Santa Cruz County Probation Department's juvenile division.
It happened a few months back, as the two were preparing for a lunchtime run, MacDonald said. As they changed their clothes in the courthouse rest room, the judge heard the drip-drip-drip of a leaky faucet.
