He has crafted winning arguments in many complex securities actions, including for Slack in the U.S. Supreme Court's 9-0 opinion in Slack Technologies v. Pirani.

Prerna Soni was promoted to partner of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in San Francisco. The promotion is effective Jan. 1, 2025.

Soni's practice involves a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. She represents private equity funds, REITs, developers, and other real estate investors in connection with acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, preferred equity transactions, construction and permanent financings, and development matters.
